Going into it I was excited yet apprehensive. Meeting new people and opening up in front of them
was hard but I knew there was no way I was leaving that retreat not having dealt with the issues I had.
The lessons I learnt and my growth during that weekend was immense. The changes in me were incredible
and I knew I was going back to my family a new woman with a new attitude. I have continued with these
new changes and it is showing in my homelife with my relationship with my husband and children. To have
my Husband comment about the change he has seen since I came back was just wonderful. I know it was for
the Good. I don't know who I would have been if I had not attended the Womans Retreat.

"My greatest learnings this weekend was the value of sisterhood, open, honest, safe, nurturing
environment to hold hands and move forward together. The best experience I had was the team building,
Banana Boat!!! And the Micro light plane. These experiences turned the old definition of fear.

Wow Wow Wow!!! What a weekend!
I tried to find any excuse not to go, but what happened is that I had a fantastic weekend and meet some great women including Jenny and Anne-Maree. It was one of those weekends that instead of not wanting to go home which is what we usually say when we have been away and had a great time, but for me it was the opposite I was excited about going home and LIVING my life and being free and open.
I felt giddy, excited and as light as a feather!! I know that sounds weird but that's the only way I can write how I felt.
Before this weekend I was happy and was grateful for what I had, but there was this person inside busting to get. I had spent so much of my life being this person that I thought everyone else wanted me to be and was always seeking approval and while doing this for as long as I can remember, I lost me the real me, I had to ask myself Who Am I?
Who Am I, I am a Mother of two beautiful girls, a wife and partner with my husband Rick. I am a Teacher -Aid at my girls school, which I love. I love Pink the singer and the colour and my most favourite thing I do at the moment is listen to my ipod with my favourite music turn it up loud and dance around semi naked and sing as loud as I want. I can't tell you how good that feels!
Its just the beginning!!!
I now step out of my comfort zone, and I am 100% responsible for my life, as no-one else can do that for me..... I would totally recommend this weekend.
